New Resident Resource Guide
Community Action of Southern Kentucky and Go BG Transit have partnered together to create a resource guide specifically for new limited English speaking residents. This guide has information about common resources available in the community in multiple languages. Pictures are included for those with low reading comprehension. This guide also includes available bus route information for the destinations along with icons for where language accommodations are provided. Feel free to print and distribute these guides to anyone who could benefit from the information. Please email Heath Ray at hray@casoky.org with requests for additions or corrections for future printing.

Are you thinking about and planning how to start a business? There are many important steps involved including completing a series of legal activities. If you are wanting to be a business or contractor in Bowling Green, KY there are services and staff who can assist you with obtaining occupational licenses and business registration and connecting to the Contractor’s Licensing Board or the WKU Small Business Development Center.

SCK LAUNCH is a partnership between the Bowling Green Area Chamber Foundation, the Bowling Green Independent School District, Warren County Public Schools and local businesses to ensure our future graduates succeed in their careers. On the website (which will be entirely in English) you can learn more about career pathways, learn how more education and training can lead to earning more money in each career sector and different jobs, and see sample resumes and advice for attending job fairs. DRIVING ACADEMY
We offer permit classes and individual driving instruction.
Permit Classes
Classes meet regularly for 3 weeks with the option to continue.
Cost: $100
Driving Classes
In order to begin the driving classes, you must have proof of a valid permit.
Classes are 10 lessons and can be completed in 5 weeks.
Cost: $300
We will provide the instruction vehicle.
IMMIGRATION ASSISTANCE
We help refugees with immigration document processing.

Cost
There are fees associated with paperwork completion and processing and with the visa fee payment. We will file waivers for visa fees when applicable.
